GITA KRISTINA NASSIRI, CPA, JD, MBT
Since 1994, Gita K. Nassiri has been a practicing California-licensed attorney. She is also licensed as a CPA (certified public accountant) in California.
In 1990, Gita received her undergraduate degree in economics from UCLA. In 1994, she received her law degree from Whittier College followed by a Master’s degree in Business Taxation, with honors, from USC.
Gita began her career as a business litigator and was involved in numerous jury and non-jury trials including a published case, Thrifty-Tel, Inc. v. Bezenek 54 Cal.Rptr.2d 468 (Cal.Ct.App. 1996). By representing business clients in complex contract and tort disputes and lawsuits, Gita gained invaluable insight and practical experience understanding different industries and their needs. Her clients included construction companies and general contractors, entertainment companies, non-profits, commercial real estate owners, and other businesses selling varied goods and services.
Prior to opening her own business and estate planning practice, Gita worked as a trusts and estates attorney for a Los Angeles-based law firm. She also worked as an international tax consultant for the accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers advising multinational businesses in their business and tax planning.
Gita is an active member of the North County Bar Association, and the California Bar Association Trusts and Estates Section, and the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce. She is fluent in French and Spanish.
Gita lives in Carlsbad with her husband and has three sons.
